In a ground-breaking partnership with the global design and innovation firm IDEO, º£½ÇÊÓƵ is the first international school in the world to be designed and built using IDEO’s human-centered design process.

The º£½ÇÊÓƵ project began with a team of designers from IDEO and international educators, who spent 4 months in Bangkok, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Singapore, visiting more than 25 innovative schools, doing extensive field-research, and looking for powerful insights on how to design a school for the future. The result? An innovative international school, designed and constructed from the ground up, offering a cutting-edge approach to learning combined with expansive facilities that will nurture a new generation of visionaries. º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s unique blueprint for learning and its physical design makes it unlike any other school.

The construction of the school began in 2017 with the hiring of the architects, interior designers, contractors and landscape artists. In 2018 we brought a team of Learning Designers to Thailand to build º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s innovative curriculum and prepare the school for its opening in August 2020.

º£½ÇÊÓƵ delivers a beautiful blend of architectural and environmental inspirations that shape new and dynamic student centered learning spaces. The spirals and loops in the architecture give a unique sense of flow and movement.

Located on Bangna-Trad road next to Thana City, º£½ÇÊÓƵ is a joint-venture partnership between Rabbit Holdings PCL., (formerly known as U City PCL), an affiliate of BTS Group Holdings and a private investor from Hong Kong.

º£½ÇÊÓƵ is the Latin word for the left-sided page in an open book, and alludes to the idea that we have ‘turned the page’ in school design.

We are committed to delivering a highly personalized educational experience for each student, that will ignite their inner passions, inspire creativity and purpose, and develop the skills and mindsets needed for their future.

At º£½ÇÊÓƵ, students will develop a strong sense of personal and cultural identity. They will develop an ability to actively engage with the world around them while gaining the confidence to follow their passions and lead their own journey.

º£½ÇÊÓƵ uses a customized American curriculum model aligned with the New York State Learning standards. Learning is interdisciplinary, project-based and highly personalized. 

Key components of our curriculum include immersive language-learning, human-centered design, digital media arts, and a holistic approach to health, physical activity and well-being. 

Specific Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available for learners who wish to supplement their personalized pathway using university-level material through single subject courses.  Those learners who score well on the AP exams may receive university credit at the discretion of individual colleges and universities.  

º£½ÇÊÓƵ currently offers STEAM based AP courses such as Physics, Biology, 2D Art, Computer Science, Statistics, and Calculus.

º£½ÇÊÓƵ International School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which will validate the integrity of the school’s program and transcript.

At º£½ÇÊÓƵ we intentionally call our teachers Learning Designers. They are passionate and highly-skilled international educators who work closely with our students to design deeply engaging learning experiences. They are hired for their experiences working in progressive educational models around the world. They work collaboratively in Design Teams, using their diverse talents and skills to create and deliver high impact projects and deep learning experiences for every student.

• º£½ÇÊÓƵ students will be organized into cohorts instead of single grade levels. A cohort combines two grade levels and is served by a dedicated team of teachers coordinated by a Cohort Leader. 

  º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s curriculum is designed to deliver a highly personalized approach to learning. Students will work in a variety of group settings, including 1-1, small groups, and larger project teams. Our student to teacher ratio ensures that each student receives a high degree of personal attention and individual support. This is an essential piece of º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s educational philosophy.

As of the current school year, there are a total of 19 nationalities represented among our student body.  These include: Thai, Chinese, Taiwanese, American, Canadian, Filipino, Japanese, Belgian, Burmese, Korean, New Zealander, Spanish, British,  Dutch, French, Italian, Nigerian, Pakistani, Vietnamese

At º£½ÇÊÓƵ, assessment goes beyond traditional numbers and letter grades. Learning targets taken from the New York State Education Department standards help us identify goals and expectations for learning. 

Our assessment system has been designed to show that student learning is a continuous process.  Assessment is always about individual growth and never to compare one student against another. Students are expected to demonstrate their learning through exhibitions that we call Showtime. 

Learning Designers will assess student work using a variety of assessments that measure growth and achievement over time. This enables us to build a detailed learning profile for each student. This information is consistently used by students and teachers to fine-tune the curriculum, celebrate achievement, and identify areas for growth. This information will be accessible to parents through º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s own digital platform, Course Compass.

Every º£½ÇÊÓƵ student will graduate with a WASC-accredited high school diploma recognized by universities around the world.

º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s school year begins in August and ends in June. Each school year comprises 2 semesters: August – December, and January – June. Click here for the 2024-2025 school calendar. 

Yes, we have uniforms and these are available for purchase from our school shop located at Hello@º£½ÇÊÓƵ. The school shop is open weekdays from 7:15 a.m. –  8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. For details please click .

Monday-Friday: 7:45 am – 2:45 pm (Lower and Middle Loop) and 9:00am - 4:00pm (Upper Loop)

Upper Loop students taking AP classes may start early, depending on the schedule.

Yes. º£½ÇÊÓƵ offers a full catering service that includes a morning snack and lunch, prepared and cooked in our cafeteria’s kitchen and catered by Epicure Catering.

We currently do not provide a school bus service. 

We believe in a culture of volunteering and welcome parents to play an active and supportive role in the school.

We want parents to feel connected and involved. In the Hub, we provide a fully-equipped Parent Lounge designed for collaborating, connecting, and communicating. A range of snacks and beverages are available.

We can transition students into º£½ÇÊÓƵ from other schools and likewise, we can also transition students out of º£½ÇÊÓƵ to other schools around the world. At º£½ÇÊÓƵ, our Learning Designers will work with students on a close and individual basis to build a complete understanding of each child. Working with families and keeping an open communication are keys in supporting a successful transition.
