U-Well with Greg

  • This week, our UL learners engaged in a dynamic lesson on Diversity & Inclusion, focusing on agencies and organizations that support cultural competency.
  • Through interactive discussions, research, and group activities, learners explored the work of global organizations like UNESCO and Learning for Justice, learning how these groups foster inclusivity and understanding across cultures.
  • They reflected on ways to support cultural competency in their own communities. This lesson reinforces our commitment to preparing learners to be driven to contribute.
  • Ask your student about their new competencies and how they plan to take action!
  • Last week students were engaged in their four year planning after completing interest surveys for our LD’s, they were tasked with determining the best path forward through our curriculum.
  • Four year planning helps them see the light at the end of the tunnel, as they learn what is required for their post-secondary goals.
  • Ask your child to show you their thoughts for next year.
  • At the end of the school year a paper copy will be shared with you that you will need to sign to confirm your understanding of their course choices in the year ahead.
  • If your family has any questions about post-secondary planning, please reach out to the UL Counselor at greg.mason@verso.ac.th.
